Ordinal Faces: Transforming Educational Content into $1.2M Market Sales
CONTEXT
In 2023, a new Bitcoin protocol known as “Ordinals” came into existence and with it came new technology that allowed for users to trade digital assets in an unprecedented format. I identified a massive "information gap" and positioned myself as a primary educator. By providing free, digestible value to thousands of users, I built a high-trust funnel that successfully launched and maintained Ordinal Faces, a 50-piece digital art collection, throughout its one-year lifecycle.
STRATEGY
The Ordinals space was intimidating for the average user. To succeed, the project needed more than good art. It needed a "Knowledge Bridge." This required:
De-mystifying the concepts of "Inscriptions" and "Satoshis" for the general public.

Authority Building: By becoming a primary source of education in a new niche, I scaled a personal brand to 11,000+ followers on X, generating millions of impressions through high-engagement social media posts.
Community Management: Built an online community of 1,000+ members on Discord, fostering over 30,000 engagement messages through active daily moderation.
Community Synergy: Funneled the educated community into Ordinal Faces. Because I had already on-boarded them into the ecosystem, the purchase felt like a natural extension of the value I had provided.
